Senior Animation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned animation professional to join our team as a Senior Animation Specialist.
As a key member of our visual effects team, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior animators and riggers in the field of animation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive training on Autodesk Maya and Blender software, covering both basic and advanced techniques.
- Teaching animation principles and workflows, with a focus on realistic and semi-realistic character animation.
- Mentoring junior animators and riggers to enhance their skills and adaptability.
Requirements include:
- Proficiency in animation and rigging using Blender and Maya software.
- Ability to apply animation principles flexibly, especially in realistic or semi-realistic character animation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address animation issues independently of tools.
- Adaptability to adjust animation style to suit the project (realistic, cartoonish, stylized, etc.).
- Ability to create rigs that facilitate animators (controllers and sliders).
Working arrangements include:
- Part-time: approximately 5-10 hours/week.
- Work remotely only.
- Paid hourly/weekly (flexible).
