Job Title: Sr. E-commerce Software Engineer

Job Description

As a seasoned e-commerce software engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our online platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Java development, with experience in Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git. They should also have a good understanding of web application servers, databases, and caching techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature requests.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in e-commerce software engineering.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure seamless integration and testing of new features.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and security vulnerabilities in the system.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on e-commerce software engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with web application servers, databases, and caching techniques.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems and web services (REST, SOAP).
