Role Overview :

We are looking for a passionate and skilled QA Engineer / SDET (Automation) to join our growing engineering team.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Automate end-to-end UI and API test cases using Selenium or Playwright.

- Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and validate new features.

- Implement and maintain reusable UI component tests and API validation.

- Apply TDD principles and leverage frameworks such as TestNG and Page Object Model.

- Use tools like RestAssured and Postman for API automation testing.

- Actively participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and defect triaging.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming.

- Experience with Selenium or Playwright for UI automation.

- Solid understanding of API testing using RestAssured and Postman.

- Experience working with TestNG, Page Object Model, Maven, and other testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of TDD, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration practices.

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Strong sense of ownership and passion for delivering high-quality software.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to e-commerce or fintech products.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools and monitoring solutions.

- Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS.
