Learning Technology Developer

Job Overview:
As a key member of our team, the LMS Specialist plays a pivotal role in crafting high-quality courses on Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless alignment with instructional design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Development: The LMS Specialist develops, formats, and organizes content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents as per design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Asset Management: Create and manage course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Content Creation: Build/edit content on Content Management System (CMS).
- Quality Assurance: Conduct QA and QC reviews to ensure learning materials meet quality and accessibility standards.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for solutions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in technology or related field.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, and accessibility standards for course design.
- Experience working on the Canvas LMS and/or CMS is a plus.
Preferred qualifications include experience with emerging LMS features and online learning trends, and the ability to recommend improvements for course delivery and user experience.
