Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Leading quality and food safety at a globally certified facility is a challenging yet rewarding experience. In this role, you will oversee quality control, ensure compliance with international regulations, and drive continuous improvement projects across production, lab, and documentation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the QA/QC team in ensuring global standards in food exports.
  • Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits, including BRCGS, Organic, and Buyer Audits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, FDA (US), EU regulations, Sedex, EcoVadis, and other relevant certifications.
  • Approve and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs).
  • Manage organic certifications, transaction certificates, and maintain mass balance & traceability records for organic integrity.
  • Drive supplier audits, vendor compliance, and raw material quality assurance.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, recalls, and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality & Food Safety, preferably with psyllium, oil seeds, or spices.
  • Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Organic handling experience is highly valued.
  • Degree/Post-grad in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
