The Circle Banking Head is a key role at Axis Bank, responsible for driving growth in the Circle by working closely with the Centre Head, Relationship Managers, and Credit Analysts. This role ensures overall growth across key parameters without compromising on portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the Commercial Banking business across key metrics, collaborating with Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts.
  • Strengthen and deepen relationships with asset and liability customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new customers, ensuring the health and quality of the existing portfolio.
  • Monitor the portfolio, resolving stressed assets through collaboration with the Collections Team.
  • Participate in Credit Committee discussions to facilitate the sanctioning process.
  • Lead, train, and motivate Centre Teams to achieve growth across key metrics.
  • Implement and drive business initiatives, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions to customers.
  • Ensure all Circle activities comply with Audit & Risk guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Develop deeper relationships through cross-selling other products via a team of Subject Matter Expert Relationship Managers.
  • Coordinate manpower recruitment and onboarding for employees in the Geography.

    • Management graduates with significant experience in leading/managing large teams.

    • A good understanding of the Commercial Banking business.
    • Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
    • Understanding of Credit and Leadership skills.
