Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working with SCADA, DMS, OMS, and EMS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate technical specifications and prepare proposals for real-time applications.
  • Design solutions as per requirement and prepare integration philosophies with third-party products.
  • Prepare hardware and software bill of quantities (BOQ) for cost estimation.
  • Compute engineering efforts covering modeling of networks, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, availability and performance tests, and customer trainings.
  • Interact with headquarters for internal process approvals, project enhancements, and technical risks.
  • Presentations and demos to customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SCADA/DMS/OMS/EMS for utilities and industries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of transmission and distribution electrical networks.
  • Domain expertise in parameterization, proper functioning, and troubleshooting of SCADA, DMS, EMS, and forecasting applications.
  • Knowledge of creating data models and specifications for extensions and discussing these models with customers and consultants.
  • Experience in implementing solution projects and mathematical simulation, optimization, and evaluation of energy distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware like servers, firewalls, routers, switches, etc.
  • Demonstratable ability to communicate highly technical information clearly and concisely to peers and customers.
  • Strong customer service and building positive relationship skills.
  • Extremely partner-focused, proactive, and effective within a team environment.
