Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team, specializing in real estate development projects including residential buildings, villas, and hospitality properties (hotels). The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in the design, execution, and supervision of electrical systems in medium to large-scale real estate projects, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and oversee the installation of electrical systems (power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, etc.) in compliance with local codes and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and consultants to integrate electrical systems into building designs.
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, load schedules, and BOQs.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor performance to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Handle electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and selection of appropriate equipment.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during construction, commissioning, and handover stages.
  • Liaise with utility providers for load approvals, energization processes, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 57 years of proven experience in MEP Electrical design and site execution for real estate projects (residential, villas, hotels).
  • Strong knowledge of local electrical codes, international standards (IEC, NEC), and authority regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office Suite. ETAP knowledge is an advantage.
