About the Opportunity:

  • Leadership & Expertise: Electrical Engineering Project Lead, responsible for overseeing tasks, ensuring timely responses to stakeholders, and meeting project objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage projects in accordance with design standards, local regulations, and technical specifications. Oversee electrical system design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Technical Specifications: Review tender documents, engineered equipment, materials, engineering, and construction service contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Procurement & Commissioning: Supervise procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, adhering to project requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify project risks, create risk mitigation plans, and ensure safety requirements are met at all stages.
  • Lessons Learned: Incorporate previous lessons learned into current project execution to avoid past issues.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee scheduling and coordination of internal and external resources to ensure timely project completion.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare agendas, business requirements, procurement strategies, safety plans, master budgets, and timelines to meet project objectives.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Knowledge of data centre testing and commissioning procedures ensures all punch list/issue log activities are completed on time.
  • Client & Vendor Relations: Develop effective relationships with customers, support sales with quotations, and coordinate with plants and business units for parts and services.
  • Team Development: Promote best practices and support project team development to maximize efficiency and effective delivery.
  • Closeouts: Handle technical and commercial closeouts for the project.

About You:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in building-related electrical works, preferably in mission-critical projects.
