BIM Manager Job Overview

As a seasoned BIM professional, you will assume a leadership role in managing multiple Architecture, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Firefighting) projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities include team management, project planning, client engagement, business development, cost control and the implementation of industry best practices in BIM project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage multiple concurrent BIM projects to ensure successful execution from inception to completion.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules and workflows to optimize project delivery.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring adherence to established BIM standards and methodologies.
    • Identify and address project-related challenges proactively. Handle QA/QC, including Clash Coordination.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Act as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and lasting relationships.
    • Attend client meetings to understand project requirements, provide updates on project progress and address concerns or inquiries promptly.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Business Development:
    • Contribute to business growth through active participation in meetings.
    • Utilize extensive industry experience to identify new business opportunities, develop proposals and showcase company capabilities.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to secure new projects.
  • Cost and Timeline Control:
    • Exercise meticulous control over project expenses, resources and timelines to ensure financial viability and schedule adherence.
    • Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising project quality or client satisfaction.
    • Monitor project timelines closely and take corrective action promptly to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Industry Best Practices:
    • Establish and enforce industry-leading best practices in BIM project management, adhering to relevant industry standards and guidelines.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technology advancements and incorporate them into project workflows.
