Mizuho is seeking a technical leader to oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of its IT infrastructure. The role involves hands-on engineering, stakeholder coordination and oversight of infrastructure projects to ensure scalability, security and high availability.

  • Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Lead infrastructure projects across networking, servers, storage and cloud
  • Serve as the SME for Windows/Linux environments, virtualization and backup/recovery systems
  • Provide mentorship to infrastructure engineers and support teams
  • Ensure high availability of core infrastructure services including compute, storage and network
  • Define and enforce configuration standards, patching cycles and disaster recovery strategies
  • Oversee incident and problem resolution for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with application, security and network teams on integrated solutions
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory standards and audit controls

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and strong problem-solving skills.
