IT Service Management System Administrator

This role involves leveraging ITSM tools to drive business value, designing and implementing effective processes and workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have skills in REST APIs, ITSM (INC, Problem, Change & Service Management), CMDB, SOAP integration, as well as experience working with Cherwell ITSM, DataDog, Flexera One, ScienceLogic, ServiceNow FSM, ServiceNow ITAM-HAM, ServiceNow ITOM-ServiceMapping, SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor, Splunk, and Vmware-vrealize-automation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop skills in REST APIs, ITSM (INC, Problem, Change & Service Management), CMDB, SOAP integration
  • Participate in discussions with Engineers and design Functional Design Documents
  • Resolve product process issues, identify solutions, and handle onboarding/offboarding
  • Provide feedback on process improvements, user account management, and champion Fresh Service Process management
  • Business Analyst Requirements:
  • Collaborate effectively with other ITSM administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configurations changes and/or requests
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to gather input for ongoing business needs for configuration implementation and support
  • Participate in discussions with Business Analysts and design FDD Functional Design Documents
  • High-Level Engineer:
  • Customize ITSM applications, facilitate rollout of new applications and modules, and configure Application UI and Workflow
  • Interact with clients, participate in client and Business discussions for requirements gathering and planning
  • Perform onsite design and Functional review before delivering the modules
  • Configure and customize the system to support business process and functionality
  • Collaborate effectively with other ITSM administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configurations changes and/or requests
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions, ensuring appropriate tools and processes are in place
  • Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, testing, sandbox, and production environments
  • Participate in ongoing production support and end-user support
