Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to fill this critical role.

About the Role
  • Ongoing Operations:
    • Optimize existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
    • Monitor system capacity and performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before they affect stakeholders.
  • New System Development:
    • Build foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.
    • Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyzing their impact on infrastructure and service operations.
  • Design Reviews:
    • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, evaluating and selecting the best technologies and automation strategies for the firm's needs.

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell; ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
