Job Title: SAP PP and Variant Configuration Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our organization as a SAP PP and Variant Configuration expert. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and supporting core SAP PP processes, including MRP, Production Order Management, Capacity Planning, and Production Scheduling.

SAP PP Responsibilities:
  • Configure and support core SAP PP processes, including MRP, Production Order Management, Capacity Planning, and Production Scheduling.
  • Lead and configure Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) scenarios in SAP PP.
SAP VC Responsibilities:
  • Configure and support Variant Configuration (VC) for handling product variants and customizable products within the SAP system.
  • Set up characteristics, classes, dependencies, and configuration profiles.
Integration with Other Modules:
  • Integrate SAP PP with MM, SD, and QM for seamless order fulfillment and production execution.
Project Delivery & Support:
  • Act as a subject matter expert during implementation, support, and rollout projects.
  • Lead testing for new implementations or system enhancements.
Training & Documentation:
  • Create user manuals, training documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SAP PP and VC processes.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field, and 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module. At least 2+ years of experience in SAP VC is also required. Strong understanding of production processes, materials management, and capacity planning is essential. Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA platforms is preferred.
