Job Title

A leading role in Production Planning is available for an experienced SAP PP professional with a strong background in Variant Configuration (VC).

About the Role

This position involves configuring and supporting SAP PP, including discrete manufacturing, planning strategies, BOMs, routings, and work centers. You will manage end-to-end production cycles, demand management, MRP, and shop floor control.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into SAP PP solutions. This includes designing and configuring SAP LO-VC for complex products, creating and maintaining characteristics, classes, dependencies, configuration profiles, object dependencies, and super BOMs/routings.

In addition, you will ensure smooth integration with SAP SD, MM, and PLM modules. Collaboration with technical teams for development and enhancement requirements is also part of this role.

You will be responsible for post-implementation support, user training, and issue resolution. Project & documentation skills are essential, as you will participate in blueprinting, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP PP implementation and support.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP Variant Configuration (VC).
  • Strong understanding of discrete and repetitive manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of MRP, planning strategies, and manufacturing execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) in S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with product costing and integration to finance.
  • SAP PP Certification is a plus.
