Director of Campus Experience

Overview:

The Director of Campus Experience oversees the planning, organization, and execution of high-volume student events on-campus and off-campus. This role requires a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Execution:
    • Develop event calendars, checklists, and execution playbooks.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, external speakers, partners, and vendors.
  • Operations & Logistics:
    • Oversee logistics such as venue, AV setup, catering, student coordination, and travel (where applicable).
    • Ensure cost-effective vendor management without compromising quality.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Create standardized processes to streamline event execution.
    • Maintain a high-frequency cadence while ensuring consistent quality.
  • Student Engagement:
    • Work closely with student committees, faculty, and external partners to co-create engaging events.
    • Collect feedback and drive improvements based on student and guest experience.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in event management, campus operations, hospitality, or related domains.
  • Proven ability to manage high-frequency events with tight turnarounds.
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and multitasking skills.
  • Hands-on execution mindset - comfortable rolling up your sleeves.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Bonus: Experience in education, student affairs, or startup environments.
