Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management professional to design, implement and manage end-to-end IT asset management processes. This role requires strong technical skills in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.

  • This is a strategic role that will lead the software asset lifecycle, including license management, procurement, renewals and optimization.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with various ITIL processes, especially ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement effective IT asset management processes.

- Manage hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, disposal and refresh.

- Perform software discovery, reconciliation and compliance checks across multiple publishers.

- Provide strategic inputs for vendor negotiations and contract renewals.

- Drive process improvements and automation within ITAM/SAM practice.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in IT asset management and software asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera).
  • Solid understanding of license models (perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, enterprise agreements).
  • Hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits and compliance management.
  • Ability to manage hardware asset lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (especially ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in Excel, Power BI or ServiceNow reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
