Job Title: Business Application Support Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing hands-on support to business applications across key areas. Success in this position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can analyze complex problems, and communicate effectively.

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working with bespoke business applications, possess strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.

The role involves acting as a front-line responder within the support team, resolving incidents and service requests raised by users. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing problem tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolving incidents and service requests raised by users
  • Maintaining and managing problem tickets
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and resolution tracking
  • Developing and maintaining deep functional knowledge of our trading application
  • Providing consistent, high-quality daily support to users
  • Assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system releases

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with bespoke business applications
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a user-focused approach
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceDesk Plus or ServiceNow
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
