Senior Manager/Associate Director Technical Accounting

The role involves overseeing the accounting and finance operations of global entities, focusing on preparation and finalization of financial statements, leading month-end closure activities, and supporting various aspects of the integrated audit.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and finalize financial statements, including notes to accounts involving multiple subsidiaries and multicurrency consolidation as per US GAAP and public accounting.
  2. Month End Closure Activities: Lead the month-end closure activities and ensure accuracy and completeness with regards to the balance sheet schedules.
  3. Technical Accounting Function: Oversee the technical accounting function of the organization, drafting of memos, implementing new standards, and supporting various aspects of the integrated audit.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant equivalent with 6-8 years of experience preferably in a software or high-tech industry.
  • Currently handling and mentoring a team.
  • Experience in a public company or a Big Four audit firm.
  • NetSuite experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with the design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures and internal controls.

Essential qualifications include high detail orientation, strong judgment, time management ability, unimpeachable integrity, thorough knowledge of (US GAAP) generally accepted accounting principles, and self-driven team player with excellent communication skills.
