Content Editor Position

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Content Editor to create high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of our audience. As a Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and coherence of our content.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread business articles and reports for accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style adherence.
  • Utilize excellent editorial judgment and a keen eye to refine content.
  • Produce high-quality content under tight deadlines while maintaining objectivity and accuracy.
  • Translate business stories into English as required.
  • Verify facts, dates, statistics, and other information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with editors and team members to enhance content quality and coherence.
  • Conduct research when necessary to fact-check and validate information.
  • Ensure proper formatting, layout, and presentation of content, including headings, subheadings, bullet points, and lists.
  • Maintain a consistent editorial style and tone across multiple articles or sections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/PG/Master's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to write/edit business copies.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and fact-checking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
