
Ambassador of Workplace Culture

This key role will shape a positive workplace culture by championing talent and designing systems that foster creativity, engagement, and retention.
Main Responsibilities- Culture & Engagement:
- Develop programs for recognition, wellbeing, team bonding, and internal communication to create a collaborative work environment.
- Lead initiatives that promote inclusivity, energy, ownership, and collaboration to enhance employee experience.
- Serve as a culture ambassador actively listening to team sentiment and taking proactive steps to evolve workplace dynamics.
- Talent Management:
- Create strategic hiring pipelines to attract high-potential talent aligned with company values.
- Design long-term retention plans including growth paths, internal mobility, and impact-based recognition to boost employee satisfaction.
- Oversee the onboarding experience to create strong cultural alignment from Day 1.
- Performance & Growth Enablement:
- Manage goal-setting, feedback, and review processes focusing on development and accountability to drive business success.
- Partner with leaders to identify learning opportunities, coaching needs, and career tracks to enhance employee growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance through mentorship programs and internal upskilling tracks.
- Policy Compliance & Operations:
- Ensure HR policies are fair, compliant with Indian labor laws, and supportive of employee welfare.
- Streamline people operations and documentation using scalable systems to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to manage compensation strategy, payroll processes, and benefits administration.
- People Insights:
- Track and report on people metrics to inform data-driven decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Use data to proactively solve challenges around retention, performance, and engagement.
- Employer Branding:
- Owning the company's employer brand on platforms, showcasing its team, culture, and impact.
- Collaborating with internal teams to build the company's reputation as a workplace of choice.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in HR or People & Culture roles, preferably in a fast-paced creative or agency setup.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho People or similar HRMS tools for managing end-to-end HR processes.
- A deep understanding of today's workforce dynamics, especially Gen Z and Millennial talent.
- A strong grasp of Indian labor laws and compliance practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, emotional intelligence, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking with an eye for culture, retention, and growth.
- Experience with HRIS/ATS/payroll systems and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred:
- Proven ability to design culture and engagement frameworks from scratch.
- Experience building HR initiatives that directly impact retention and team morale.
- A creative mindset with the ability to bridge business goals and people needs.
- Experience working in a Marketing / PR Agency.
- Zoho People HRMS Experience is highly valued.
