
Lead Contract Negotiator

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract reviews and negotiations across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU.
The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of GDPR, DPDPA (India), and other privacy laws. They will also have strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction
- Drafting and maintaining standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process
- Providing legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms
- Attending customer and vendor negotiation calls with the team/independently
- Handling data privacy matters, including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses in various contracts, and staying current with global regulatory developments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry
- Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR
- Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is an advantage
- Good communications skills
