Compliance Leadership Role

You will be responsible for leading our compliance functions with expertise and vision. Your tenure in senior roles has prepared you to oversee corporate governance, risk management, and statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities
  • CORPORATE GOVERNANCE & BOARD SUPPORT: Advise the board on matters of corporate governance, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Ensure strict adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act and financial laws applicable to listed companies.
  • AQUISITION & INTEGRATION: Manage the integration of newly acquired companies' compliance functions, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks, developing robust internal policies and procedures.
  • STATUTORY FILINGS: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of regulatory documents and returns with authorities like the Registrar of Companies and Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
  • RESPONDING TO REGULATORS: Resolve queries and notices from stock exchanges, regulatory bodies, and other authorities.
  • INTERNAL AUDITS: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure continuous adherence to regulations and internal policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory qualified Company Secretary (CS). A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a strong advantage.
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior compliance or governance role, with M&A compliance experience.
  • LEGAL & FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE: In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
  • REGULATORY EXPERTISE: Strong understanding of regulatory filings and procedures with authorities like the MCA, ROC, SEBI, and RBI.
