Finance Associate Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to manage statutory filings, compliance with financial regulations, income tax, TDS provisions, GST, and financial statements preparation.

This role requires strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and focus on delivering accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory forms and returns with government agencies.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in the Companies Act, income tax, TDS provisions, GST, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any legal or compliance issues related to statutory filings and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including timely filing of returns, reconciliation, and addressing any GST-related queries.
  • Provide accurate and reliable financial information to stakeholders, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to statutory filings, compliance, and financial statements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of finance operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial statements and compliance filings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to address complex financial and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.
