Lead Statistician Program Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Statistician Program Manager to ensure the Statistical Programming department consistently meets its objectives, delivers high-quality results, and adheres to all project requirements and processes.

  • Ensure the Statistical Programming department meets timelines, provides high-quality deliverables, complies with contractual project requirements, and conducts projects efficiently.
  • Develop and implement departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee staff development, training, and performance management, setting goals, evaluating training needs, and providing mentorship and coaching.
  • Mentor direct reports in their professional growth, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Prioritize activities across Statistical Programming projects and facilitate conflict resolution to meet project utilization goals and match skills to appropriate projects.
  • Support business development activities and participate in or lead departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of statistical programming principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in project management within a statistical programming or clinical research environment.
  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience in staff development, training, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
