Job Title: Chief Financial Officer for Hotels

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role overseeing the financial activities of hotels. The CFO will manage and supervise budgeting, forecasting, financial auditing, and compliance.

The individual will prepare financial reports, conduct financial analysis, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Other duties include managing accounts receivable, liaising with external auditors, and maintaining accurate financial statements.

We are seeking a qualified chief financial officer to join our finance team. The role will oversee end-to-end financial management for our hotel portfolio, with a focus on consolidation, compliance, and performance analysis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate monthly and annual accounts across all hotels.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for management.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits specific to the hospitality industry.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury management at group level.
  • Support annual budgeting and reforecasting for each hotel unit.
  • Standardize accounting processes and internal controls across properties.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide actionable insights on cost management, revenue streams, and profitability improvement.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with 3–7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in hospitality / multi-unit business is strongly preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, hotel PMS (Opera, IDS, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
