Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conceptualizing and designing special purpose machines assembly lines, as well as experience in engineering system solutions (ESS) creation, supplier selection, trials, trouble-shooting, installation, commissioning, customer complaint resolution, and document management.

  • Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
  • Design and implement efficient special purpose machines assembly lines to meet production requirements.
  • Develop and maintain engineering systems solutions (ESS) that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services.
  • Conduct trials and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Install and commission new systems, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, focusing on finding solutions rather than placing blame.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including drawings and training materials.
  • Apply design for manufacturing excellence (DFMEA), process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA), and measurement system analysis (MSA) to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Functional Competencies

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Assembly process automation, mechanical design, 3D modeling, AutoCAD, layout, 2D drawing drafting, and GDT.
  • Time study, value stream mapping, poke-yoke, lean six sigma, and line layout simulation.
  • Pneumatics, mechanisms, and hydraulics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
