Job Title: Senior Organic Production Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our organic production and procurement efforts. This key role requires a strong background in agriculture business and expertise in sourcing high-quality organic commodities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source certified organic commodities and manage farmer clusters to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Drive certification processes, conduct audits, and prepare export documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and farmers to promote sustainable practices and prevent unethical behavior.
  • Design and implement annual farming plans, budgets, and strategies to promote sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Monitor agri-commodity market trends and align procurement strategies to optimize results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in organic sourcing/procurement with a proven track record of success.
  • Postgraduate degree in Agriculture Business (IRMA, MANAGE, SIIB, XIMB, or NIAM preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of organic standards, certification schemes, and sustainability principles.
  • Proven supplier management and farmer engagement experience.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Background:
  • Reputed agri sourcing and procurement firms in the organic space.
