**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Job Summary**:
The Quality Control Chemistry Laboratory Chemist will oversee daily operations of the chemistry lab, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accurate metal content analysis using Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES). This role having responsibilities with technical expertise in ICP-OES method development, validation, and troubleshooting for industries such as pharmaceuticals, environmental testing, or food safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Laboratory Supervision**:

- Manage lab operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols (PPE, chemical handling), and regulatory guidelines (GMP, ISO).
- **Technical Duties**:

- Perform and supervise routine/non-routine metal analysis using ICP-OES.
- Develop, validate, and optimize ICP-OES methods for diverse sample matrices.
- Troubleshoot instrument issues (e.g., plasma stability, calibration drift).
- Review data for accuracy, compliance, and integrity; maintain detailed documentation.
- Calibrate and maintain ICP-OES and related equipment; coordinate external servicing.
- **Compliance & Collaboration**:

- Prepare for audits/inspections; address findings and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with QA, R&D, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Update SOPs and ensure alignment with ASTM, USP, and industry standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Master’s in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry.
- **Experience**:

- 5+ years in a QC lab, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Hands-on ICP-OES experience (method development, validation, analysis).
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in ICP-OES operation, maintenance, and data software.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (ISO-9001).
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with ICP-OES, ICP-MS, HPLC, or GC.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
