Research Consultant

We're seeking a skilled Research Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data from various sources to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing research assignments to deliver significant new insight on innovations and solutions
  • Creating original, evidence-based positioning for innovative and disruptive technologies by researching competitor activity and customer impact
  • Supporting business decision makers to think long term and consider the context, risks and opportunities associated with innovation
  • Providing a continuous stream of insight on new and potential forthcoming issues that may affect the organization's reputation

Requirements:

  • At least four years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques
  • Exposure to Business Information Services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to network with and influence up to senior and executive level
  • Understanding of market data services such as Factiva, Factset, CapitalIQ, Dealogic and rating agencies
  • Experience of sector research and use of complex databases
  • Knowledge of workflow management
  • Good understanding of secondary research
  • Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task
