Internal Communications Measurement Specialist

This role is crucial in assessing the effectiveness of internal communications efforts and providing data-driven insights to improve engagement and information flow within an organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools, experience with survey design and analysis, and excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and research methodologies.

The goal of this position is to develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication measurement strategy, staying current with industry best practices and collaborating with internal communications teams to provide data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication measurement strategy, staying current with industry best practices in communication measurement and analytics.
  • Research and Data Collection: Design and conduct surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to analyze data from multiple sources, including engagement surveys, intranet, and email.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal communications, analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and provide regular reports and presentations on communication effectiveness.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Collaborate with internal communications team to develop data-driven recommendations and inform strategic communication decisions based on data insights.
  • Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance measurement capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a communications or HR setting or PR Agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Research, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with survey design and analysis, proficiency in ML a plus (Python).
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with internal communications platforms and tools is a plus.
