Project Leadership Role

We are seeking an accomplished project leader with extensive experience in leading and managing large-scale solar power projects. The role demands complete ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, budget requirements, and timelines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and execute detailed project plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and project monitoring mechanisms.

Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to scope, cost, and timeline commitments.
  • Monitor daily site progress, coordinate with site engineers and contractors.
  • Implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.

Technical Oversight

  • Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering and site teams.
  • Ensure smooth integration of solar systems with grid or battery energy storage systems.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Act as the key point of contact for all project-related communication.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental health and safety (EHS) standards at site.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement industry best practices in project execution.

Project Closure & Handover

  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials.
  • Ensure proper documentation, certifications, and approvals.
  • Prepare detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / Commercial & Industrial projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
