Record to Report Specialist

The role of a Financial Analyst - Record to Report involves analyzing financial data, controlling and logging financial transactions, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate should have experience in the record-to-report process, knowledge of MS Office, and be able to work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Systematic control and logging of financial transactions
  • Processing journal entries, financial accounting transactions into the general ledger, and collecting, recording, verifying, and reconciling financial data
  • Maintaining and updating hierarchies in the general ledger and managing cost centers
  • Recording and controlling physical records and financial activities related to fixed assets for book and tax purposes
  • Preparing financial and ad hoc reports and analyses
  • Monitoring and tracking periodic revenue and expenses
  • Monitoring and tracking POs and invoices
  • Posting bank statements on a daily basis
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, including accrual, re-class, adjustments, payroll, and clearing entries as per timelines
  • Performing month-end close activities as per close calendar agreed with the customer
  • Bank reconciliation statement
  • Preparing cash flow statement
  • Balance sheet review and reconciliation
  • Managing quarterly inter-company process and ensuring variations within threshold limits
  • Processing addition/disposal/retirement requests received for fixed assets
  • Preparing statutory analysis to support monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts as per client organization policies and providing variance analysis as per frequency
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of regular education (10 + 2 + 3)
  • Non-technical graduation in any stream (B.COM, M.COM or similar preferred)
  • Flexible with night shifts and rotation shifts
  • Candidates must have registered EPs and a valid application form during the drive
  • End-to-end knowledge in record to report process and good knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
