The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing the financial data platform, providing technical guidance to teams, and working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps.

  • Mentoring and training junior engineers on design techniques and coding standards">
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn vision into tangible roadmaps every quarter">
  • Engaging with upstream teams to ensure data availability and quality">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering">
  • 2+ years of experience in architecting big data systems around technologies like Apache Spark and Hive">
  • Experience in upleveling junior engineers via processes and setting a high bar for them to follow">
  • Knowledge of high-quality code and software engineering processes, and ability to foster an environment that creates them">
  • Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together">
  • Experience in integrating with NetSuite APIs, developing financial tools, and transforming business/product data to accounting/financial domain">
  • Experience in integrating banking partners or knowledge of bank statements (API-based, file-based, SWIFT)">
