We are seeking an experienced Tank Gauging System Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our tank gauging systems. This role requires a deep understanding of tank gauging principles and hands-on experience with related instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission tank gauging systems and related equipment.
  • Conduct functional checks to ensure proper operation of gauging instruments.
  • Perform calibration and validation of measurement systems.
  • Evaluate existing tank gauging systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to tank gauging instrumentation.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and compliance records.
  • Develop and issue Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tank gauging operations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and project managers to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff regarding tank gauging systems.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in tank gauging systems or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications in instrumentation is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of tank gauging technologies (e.g., radar, servo, float systems).
  • Experience with calibration and validation of gauging equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, data acquisition, and reporting systems.
  • Proficiency in software tools used for tank gauging data analysis and reporting.
