Job Summary

This role involves providing technical support to ensure efficient project execution in the tank gauging business.

  • Provide technical assistance to sales offices for effective project execution in the tank gauging business.
  • Prepare post-project documentation, including customer POs, project documentation, and resolving customer comments in a timely manner.
  • Submit project documentation to customers, EPCs, end-users, or purchasers and obtain required manufacturing approval.
  • Attend internal project execution meetings to understand customer requirements and act accordingly.
  • Prepare buyouts specifications and coordinate with the SCM team for quotes/POs.
  • Responsible for meeting project schedules and preparing As-Build documentation.
  • Maintain logs of all key metrics for projects.
  • Develop techno-commercial proposals for enquiries/RFQs related to tank gauging systems for the tank gauging business.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for tank gauging products.
  • Select suitable instruments based on RFQs and detail specifications.
  • Design instrumentation solutions/systems based on applications.
  • Prepare specifications for buyouts and obtain quotes from the SCM team.
  • Maintain logs of all key metrics for proposals.

Key Requirements:

  • Up to 4 years of experience in core instrumentation with process industry, EPC companies, or OEM companies.
  • Clear understanding of basic working principles of different level instruments, pressure, and temperature instruments.
  • Added knowledge of Tank Gauging Systems will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with installation and calibration of instruments.
  • Familiarity with instrument data sheets, P&ID, and specifications, international standards for hazardous, flammable areas, ingress protection codes, SIL ratings, wiring, and looping.
  • Selection of suitable instrument types and models based on customer specifications/requirements.
  • Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with ease. Familiarity with CAD and MS Projects will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates with knowledge of documentation related to post-order activities will be preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute. Candidates with post-graduation (ME, M.Tech) in Instrumentation Engineering may also apply.
