Visionary System Engineer II Role

The successful candidate will lead a project engineering team responsible for DCS/PLC upgrades, migrations, and replacements on Honeywell installed bases. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project engineering team in DCS/PLC up-gradation, migration, and rip-and-replace type of projects for Honeywell installed base
- Participate in Technical Solution finalization
- Collaborate with Sales team during handover meetings
- Ensure overall engineering deliverables are met
- Forecast BOMs for anticipated orders
- Collect and input site data into C-KOM system
- Plan and manage site execution, manpower, and team coordination
- Develop financial understanding of projects
- Review and prepare FAT documentation, HDM/SDM/FDS engineering documentations
- Interpret and engineer systems based on inputs like IO index, P&ID, C&E matrix, and HAZOP
- Work on DCS / PLC / SCADA systems hardware, engineering, and architecture
- Achieve change orders/service orders for out-of-scope jobs
- Control man-hours spent by self and project team
- Coordinate factory operations for panel manufacturing and timely completion
- Conduct pre-FAT & FAT testing and demos for customers
- Implement standardization and engineering best practices
- Ensure quality checks on deliverables
- Communicate with customers and consultants regarding project correspondences
- Closely coordinate with Project and Engineering Manager to drive projects based on revenue plans, billing plans, and cash collection
