Job Title:

Information Security Governance Manager

">Description:

As a critical member of our organization, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing our IT security governance programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our security policies, processes, and controls align with our business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to assess risks, drive a culture of information security, and promote a proactive approach to risk management. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert on IT security best practices, frameworks, and industry trends, providing guidance and support to colleagues throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Establishing governance frameworks to ensure security controls align with business and regulatory requirements
  • Providing expert advice on IT security best practices, frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, etc.), and industry trends
  • Leading the IT risk management program, including risk identification, assessment, treatment, and reporting
  • Partnering with business units to evaluate risks associated with new technologies, vendors, and processes

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses a strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations. You should have a proven track record of successfully managing enterprise risk management or compliance programs, with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

A bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required, along with 7+ years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or IT audit, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role. A master's degree is preferred.
