Accounting and Reporting Specialist Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team, where you will play a key role in driving end-to-end financial processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global financial services group with a long-standing track record of profitability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Own financial analysis, risk assessment, and accounting/reporting, including month-end close and statutory reporting.
  • Compliance and Audits: Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with finance control standards.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives across financial functions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of accountants, fostering independence and accountability.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver on key projects and support strategic initiatives within finance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Qualified CA, CFA, or MBA with 10–13 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements, particularly those applicable to the banking industry.
  • Background: Prior experience in accounting, finance, investment banking middle office, financial services, equity research, or stockbroking.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to build and mentor teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
