Job Title: Collection Strategy Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive collection strategies for business loans to achieve recovery targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of collection officers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee daily collection activities, including portfolio allocation, call management, and field visits.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with legal and company policies.
  • Analyze collection data and metrics to identify trends, forecast potential delinquencies, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team to meet and exceed targets.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision making.

Negotiation: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to handle difficult conversations with debtors and internal stakeholders.

Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the business loan collection process, regulatory guidelines, and legal frameworks specific to the NBFC sector.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using collection management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in business loan collections, with a significant portion of that time in a managerial or leadership role within an NBFC.
