Job Title: Cloud Cost Optimization Analyst

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Cloud Cost Optimization Analyst to support the optimization of cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze cloud workflows and operational processes to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards for cloud monitoring and decision-making
  • Support the enterprise with data-driven insights for strategic direction and product management
  • Document and standardize operational procedures across cloud architecture, platform engineering, and data engineering teams
  • Contribute to lifecycle management of IT platform products (Databricks, AWS services, Ataccama, etc.)

Essential tasks include executing cloud cost optimization initiatives, maintaining sophisticated cost models, and generating strategic cost reporting and variance analysis for leadership and vendor management.

This role requires strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and FinOps practices. In addition, the ideal candidate should have direct experience with big data analytics platforms, knowledge of cloud cost management tools and advanced FinOps methodologies, or familiarity with ITIL, process improvement frameworks, or operational excellence practices.
