We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to drive the optimization of our Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and a proven track record in cloud cost optimization, DevOps best practices, and scalability.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting regular reviews of Azure resource utilization, implementing cost governance frameworks, and monitoring dashboards to ensure efficient use of cloud resources.

You will also advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance, recommend automation for DevOps pipelines, and provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal engineering teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct periodic reviews of Azure resource utilization (compute, storage, databases, IoT Hub, AKS, etc.).
  • Optimize cloud spend while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement cost governance frameworks, tagging, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Advise on architecture improvements for high availability, security, and compliance.
  • Recommend and configure automation for DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
  • Support scaling across global regions (India, Middle East, SEA).
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal engineering team.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless).
  • Proven track record in cloud cost optimization and DevOps best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Functions, AKS, IoT Hub, CosmosDB, Blob, Key Vault, Monitor, and B2C.
  • Familiarity with microservices, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience with startup or fast-growth environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for remote, on-demand consulting.
