Cloud Infrastructure Specialist: Build Resilient Systems

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design and operate production-grade cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in building scalable systems that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design: Utilize cloud services, including AWS VPC, IAM, RDS, EC2, ECS, S3, and others, to build secure and efficient systems across multi-region environments.
  • Operational Efficiency: Scale multi-region applications, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • DevOps and Security: Implement automation-first approaches for deployments, security, compliance, and monitoring.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Leverage Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes for efficient container management.
  • Linux System Administration: Administer and optimize Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian) for performance, security, and automation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Automation and Scripting: Create Python, Bash, and Shell scripts for system orchestration and automation.
  • Network Configuration: Implement and manage network settings, including LAN, WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Utilize Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, and APM solutions for effective monitoring.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Work with Airflow for data pipeline automation.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills in cloud computing, DevOps, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with AWS services and related tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, Bash, and Shell.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline development and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with workflow automation using Airflow.
