Accounting Operations Specialist

This is a key role in our organization, responsible for managing core accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Record Financial Transactions: Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, bank entries).
  2. Manage Vendor Payments: Handle vendor payments, customer receipts, and petty cash accounting with precision.
  3. Perform 3-Way Invoice Matching: Ensure seamless PO, GRN, and invoice matching for efficient accounting processes.
  4. Ensure Timely Vendor Payments: Maintain accurate vendor master details (GSTIN, bank, etc.) to facilitate timely payments.
  5. Prepare Reports: Prepare vendor ageing reports, assist in monitoring cash flow, and maintain transparency in financial transactions.
  6. Reconcile Data: Independently prepare and file GST and TDS returns, staying updated on tax law changes.
  7. Support Audits: Participate in internal/statutory audits and generate MIS reports as needed, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounting Principles and vendor management, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data analysis skills are essential, with exposure to SAP and Ind AS desirable.

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
