Job Role:

The Production Management Lead oversees the day-to-day print operations, ensuring timely deliverables through efficient project management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage Client expectations and adherence to their processes and policies
  • Provide technical assistance and advice to minimize costs
  • Collaborate with artwork studios and printers to maintain quality prints and consistency across various projects
  • Support during the design phase through artwork review and risk identification
  • Lead stakeholder conversations on color assessments for print work
  • Develop strong project management skills, tracking project timelines to meet deadlines
  • Manage color standards storage and support logistics arrangements as required
  • Promote proactive issue resolution and foster good relationships with stakeholders
  • Offer support onsite, offsite, and at printer sites when necessary
  • Ongoing tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive print production experience or equivalent education
  • Client-facing experience and prior Project/Account management background
  • Familiarity with Color Management or Separation tools
  • Strong knowledge in various Print methods (Offset, Flexo, or Gravure)
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and external clients or vendors
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Critical attention to details, deadlines, and reporting with occasional travel requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
