Mendix Platform Administrator Role

The Mendix platform administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operation of the Mendix environment within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User and Access Governance: Inviting new users, managing user roles and permissions, and configuring App Access Groups to ensure appropriate access to applications and data.
  • Application Deployment and Monitoring: Overseeing the deployment of new applications, monitoring their performance, and managing the application lifecycle.
  • Platform Configuration and Maintenance: Configuring settings within the Mendix platform, managing Marketplace content, and ensuring the platform is running smoothly.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Addressing issues related to the platform and applications, collaborating with users and technical teams to resolve problems.
  • Security Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the platform and its data, including user authentication and authorization.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to understand requirements and ensure the platform effectively supports business needs.

Applicants should have 8+ years of experience in Mendix administration, be well-versed in the platform's features and best practices, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
