As a seasoned Vice President Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the SRE strategy within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Toil Reduction and Automation: Develop methodologies to eliminate toil-heavy processes and implement automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Service Metrics and SLAs: Assist in establishing service metrics and develop actionable plans to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • SLOs and Monitoring Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement SLOs for critical services and define a monitoring strategy that ensures seamless operations.
  • Reliability Improvements: Design and implement reliability improvements, conduct capacity planning, and perform chaos engineering exercises to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead architectural reviews for reliability, drive continuous improvement from incidents, and contribute to Test and Deployment processes to optimize service performance.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on SRE Practitioner with 5+ years of experience working in an SRE role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating to error budgets.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of production support processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with one/more public/private cloud platforms.
