Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:
  • Manage complete cloud infrastructure on a strong foundation of tenancy, virtual cloud networks, compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options.
  • Administer OCI infrastructure, including installation, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Develop and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and infrastructure management.
  • Optimize performance, hardware upgrades, and resource allocation to ensure high availability and efficiency.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, upgrade administrative tools, and configure new services as needed.
  • Experience with Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts, Public Load Balancers, and storage provisioning.
  • Provision compute nodes, networks, and understand requirements for the same.
  • Familiarity with IaaS solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, and local/cloud storage.
  • Handle certificate renewals and maintain high availability architecture in an OCI environment.
  • Understand HA concepts in DR and set up infrastructure for DR sites.
  • Migrate data using migration tools and handle performance management and cost optimization.
  • Analyze solution designs that meet business requirements and assist in design decisions.
  • Develop and implement cloud solutions and have exposure to code repositories like GIT.
  • Multicloud experience is a plus.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional (mandatory)
  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (preferred)
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (preferred)
  • Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate (preferred)
