About Our Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Scientific Officer to lead oligo synthesis and analytics for groundbreaking therapeutic and diagnostic programs. This is a PhD-level position that offers the opportunity to drive innovation and advancement in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated solid-phase synthesis protocols, ensuring high coupling efficiency (>99%) and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Pilot-scale synthesis of oligos, leveraging expertise in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, and analytics.
  • Purify and characterize oligos using HPLC, PAGE, CE, LC-MS, UV-Vis, and MS techniques.
  • Oversee lab instrumentation, inventory management, safety procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Drive cross-functional method development initiatives and Quality Control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. + 2–5 years' experience in oligo synthesis and analysis, with a strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry and purification techniques.
  • Bonus: experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing, and other advanced techniques.
