Financial Reporting Specialist

About this role:
This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger, ensuring timely and reliable financial reporting. To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and up-to-date.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, providing essential data for financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Provide necessary documentation and information for internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial data and prepare insightful reports for management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives, enhancing overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
